These spices can be combined in amounts to make specific spice mixtures used in everyday cooking. A very well known spice mixture is the Garam Masala. The word garam means hot, not "hot" as in spicy chili hot, but due to the fact that the spices blended in the mixture are said to increase the body temperature.

This recipe is from Tosca Reno’s Book The Eat-Clean Diet for Family and Kids. She calls them Breakfast Hermits but I think they'll go over better with the word cookie. :)
I’ve included tweaks.

Bored with beef? Look no further. Leg of lamb is one of the leanest cuts of meat -- only 162 calories and 6.6 grams of fat per 3-ounce serving (compared with 196 calories and 11 grams of fat for beef).

One of my favourite meals to make is Butter Chicken (also called Indian Butter Chicken--but after being told off by an Indian woman, I dropped the Indian part).
Here's my recipe, you can add as much or as little spice as you want. I serve this with basmati rice, naan bread, mango chutney and raita (which my husband LOVES).

Makes between 16 and 24 individual rolls
I ran out of cinnamon before making these rolls, so instead substituted dried ginger and cardamom, which I can highly recommend if you are making these rolls with peaches or pears. But, go lightly on the spice in this case… a little cardamom and ginger is a nice touch, a lot and you won’t taste anything else for the rest of the day.
1 medium russet potato
2 t active dry yeast
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 t salt
6 T unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
4 to 5 cups of all purpose flour
2-4 T of softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 T ground cinnamon
2 large peaches, pealed and sliced into wedges
Peel the potato and cut it into small pieces.

This is pretty easy and tasty. (I've tweaked the original a bit) I generally make double batch as it freezes well.
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
½ cup finely diced yellow onion
1 heaping tsp.

Taking a Tea Bath Can Help Relieve Stress!
While you might already know the health benefits of drinking tea on a daily basis, you may not be aware of the skin and health-enhancing benefits of soaking in it. A tea-based bath is a great way to soak up the antioxidants and minerals that come from tea.
