I think the last cake I posted was right around the end of May, which makes me sad because I have been doing SO much lately and just have not had the time to share any of my latest creations with you. So please forgive me, but I am about to dump about 5 posts in here right in a row.
The first one is a three-tiered wedding cake I made around the first week of June.

1. Worst fast-food chicken meal
Chicken Selects Premium Breast Strips from McDonald's (5 pieces) with creamy ranch sauce
830 calories
55 grams (g) fat (4.5 g trans fat)
48 g carbohydrates
The only thing "premium" about these strips is the caloric price you pay. Add a large fries and regular soda and this seemingly innocuous chicken meal tops out at 1,710 calories.

Mitch Hedberg is my favorite comedian of all time. His style (random non-sequiturs) reminded me of old-school Stephen Wright.
Hedberg sadly died in March of 2005 of a drug overdose.

This recipe makes 2 HUGE lasagna's so I suggest you half it. I saw Tony make this on his talk show, back in the day haha. When I made it myself, I thought it was the best damn lasagna I have ever had.

I wouldn't even know what to call this dish. I saw it once on Everyday Italian and I kept that episode on my DVR for a really long time, but eventually erased it.
What you do is take a loaf of French Bread (although I don't think it has to be French bread specifically) and cut it in half, then take out most of the bread in one half so you have what looks like a bread boat :P Brush a bit of olive oil and stick it in the oven for a few minutes to toast lightly.
