Lately I have been making alot of breads, cakes and cookies. I'm hooked! I guess I'm more of a baker girl (like Izzie), I wish I wasn't though!

Found this guy at the local grocery store. He's almost too cute to eat, but not cute enough to stop me!

This is another Rachael Ray recipe that I changed a teeny bit to make my own.
First of all, she calls it "stoup," as in, thicker than soup but thinner than stew. That word sets my teeth on edge, so it's just a thick soup.

This is my first season. Thanks Jen! Although I have now become somewhat of an expert on Season 2 as well.

I made this in only a few minutes and it came out really good. My husband is Puertoriccan so we have Spanish brands in our house, but substitutes are easy to find and I will note them for you.
Makes 4 srv.

My mother is a reader of Woman's Day Magazine (whose recipes I usually love) and she passed on these 2 ingredient recipe cards to me. Sure, some of them are a little odd and I will probably never, ever attempt, but there were a few that immediately grabbed my attention and I can't wait to try out! (Pineapple with coconut sorbet...)
If you want the actually cards to print out and some additional ideas: http://www.womansday.com/food/6577/2-ingredient-recipe-cards.html, http://www.womansday.com/food/6373/none.html
Appetizers
Marinate mixed olives (jar) with freshly grated peel and juice from 1 lemon in refrigerator at least 24 hours.

It's a party!
$: Southern Shindig
Nothing gets people's mouths watering like down-home cooking -- the main event at this party. Order takeout fried chicken and make all the fixings yourself, or fry up a batch of easier-to-cook chicken-fried steak.

Hello, this is the most common food in Catalunya, the north-east of Spain, the translations is bread with tomatoes, is sooooo simple. Open the loaf in a half and the tomato too, squeeze it, so the bread looks reddish, add a little bit of salt and some olive oil. Alone is great, but we usually share with some good cheese or ham or salami or chorizo!

I had to write a paper for my english class about the thing i struggle the most with. So naturally i wrote about food. Its not a true story, but parts of it are and its something we can all relate to.

On Wednesday night when I got home from work my sister was home and my dad was in the kitchen preparing a Spanish tapas feast! I've been craving Spanish food for some time now and I threw down my stuff, slapped on my apron, and helped him finish up the meal. We had tortilla, roasted peppers stuffed with marinated tuna roll ups, gambas al ajilo, patatas bravas, and pan frito con chorizo.
