I have always been sort of a rebel. When I was little my grandma used to pull me aside to remind me that I am “fabulous” and I would look at her like she was a crazy woman. I was a little bit of homely smacked with freckles and a toothy smile.

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
This is another one that my mom gave me to read. She let me bring it back from my trip, and I didn't even get to start reading it until we were home. Water for Elephants is the story of a man named Jacob Jankowski.
