LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A Florida man was about halfway through a plate of steamed clams when he chomped down on something hard — a rare, iridescent purple pearl. George Brock and his wife, Leslie, had been spending a day at the beach Friday in South Florida and stopped at Dave's Last Resort & Raw Bar for a bite.

I'm trying to work a little more seafood into our diets, but, while it's healthier, it's also certainly more expensive. But this recipe combines a little seafood with a little savings by incorporating pantry staples and simple ingredients. Can't wait to try it!

I've made this clam dip a couple times (including for last night while watching the Oscars with a friend) and each time it's been a huge hit. It's easy to make, decadently delicious, and guaranteed to please. Bonus: it's really low cal.

Have you ever heard of this dish before? It's something that I've always wanted to try and seen in various cookbooks, but Cioppino just isn't something that I've ever gotten around to making.
To tell you a little more about it, Cioppino is a fish stew derived from the various regional fish soups and stews of Italian cuisine.

Around 12,800 years ago the northern hemisphere was hit by the Younger Dryas mini ice age, or "Big Freeze".

You could leave home, disappear from the radar, have different circles of friends, and spend that hidden time figuring out who you are.
