Fact: I've stolen a bit of mustard and peanut butter from marked containers in my office kitchen when I was in a bind. Fact: Someone stole my Trader Joes Steel Cut Oatmeal from the freezer. Fact: These offenses are not equal, but I still worry it's karma.

While in Stockholm last week, I was able to try Marcus Samuelsson's Street Food restaurant. Samuelsson's fast food joint is located inside the main train station. I had read about it on a blog a while ago and was curious to try it.

I recently came across a delicious cilantro chutney product that I ended up going through much faster than any condiment I've ever owned. It may perhaps be the first since Grey Poupon that actually was used in its entirety prior to meeting the expiration date. I mixed it with rice, pasta, soups, etc.

My boyfriend will be leaving for his first tour at the end of the year and we have been avoiding the topic for a long time. Now that it is soon appraching I have taken an interest in doing everything I can to be prepared.

I feel like sometimes it's hard to continue being eco-friendly when you are out and about with your friends and such, unless you drive a hybrid, walk everywhere you go, etc. (Which I don't have and I don't do.)
Thankfully the lovely Rachel McAdams and her friends head a site called greenissexy.org. In it they suggest simple ways that you and I could be "green," and here are simple ways we all can continue saving the planet once we have stepped out of the house:

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Condiments (ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise)
Sandwich roll or bun
Ham or other cold cuts
Raw vegetables
Olives
Cherry tomatoes
Softened cream cheese
Cheese sticks
Cheese cubes
Carrots
Bell peppers
1. Spread your child's favorite condiment on the bottom half of a sandwich roll.
