You can make any holiday celebration special by using selected cookie cutters to decorate with. Cookie cutters are non-denominational and come in any size and shape. A fun winter break project to share with your kids.

Double, double toil and trouble...If you're preparing for a household Halloween bash get some sweet backup and inspiration from gourmet mixes and cookie cutters. Stores like Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, Target and drugstores are fully stocked with scary and silly Halloween shapers that will add that extra pizzazz to your kiddie soiree spread.
I adore this Halloween cookie cutter set ($20 for 5), which can be used year after year.

By the time the actual day of Christmas rolled around I was so over baking that I didn't want to make dessert for my own dinner. Instead of dealing with mounds of flour or cookie cutters, I just wanted to relax and watch the yule log on TV. Weeks earlier I was given a box of all-natural oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix from Kodiak Cakes, which seemed perfect given my laziness on Christmas morning.

IN ALSACE, IT'S MAGIC!
There would be a Christmas tree which will be born! Cupcakes made with cookie cutters and gingerbread are important.

Halloween may be all about the costumes and candy, but that doesn't mean you can't trick kids with a treat that's healthy too. Take an all-time childhood favorite – the lollipop – and convert it into something that will fill trick-or-treaters up with necessary nutrients.
Take a selection of firm fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple and cut them into thick slices.

HSBC, one of the biggest banks on the planet, has taken to calling itself "the world's local bank." Starbucks is un-branding at least three of its Seattle outlets, the first of which just reopened as "15th Avenue Coffee and Tea." Winn-Dixie, a 500-outlet supermarket chain, recently launched a new ad campaign under the tagline, "Local flavor since 1956."

Moravian Spice Cookie Waffers
From Food Network Kitchens
This cookie comes to us from North Carolina by way of Central Europe; it's a classic, peppery spice cookie brought to the U.S. by Moravians in the 1700s. The key to this cookie is rolling it super-thin to get that characteristic snap; it's a lot easier to roll it that thin between waxed paper.

"SCOTCH" SHORTBREAD COOKIES
I don't know about you, but I have done way too much eating this holiday...especially when I'm supposed to be in race training! Ugh! I do know, though, that I have a horrible sweet tooth, and I just am not willing to give up some of my goodies...unless my arm is twisted!

Many of you have emailed the last few days asking about some report that Kristen Stewart was holding hands with Robert Pattinson in a grocery store…?
Well… she was definitely holding someone’s hand this weekend: her boyfriend’s. His name is Michael Arangano.
