Tandoori turkey in the oven
For a few years now I've wanted to try to marry the traditional Southern Indian food my husband grew up enjoying with Thanksgiving as I know it (Southern girl with a love of spice and heat).
So this year I did a trial run of a tandoori-style turkey made in the oven. By next year I hope to build my own tandoor, or at least grill this guy, because it needs a little more heat to crisp up properly.

Is China headed toward collapse?
By EAMON JAVERS
The conventional wisdom in Washington and in most of the rest of the world is that the roaring Chinese economy is going to pull the global economy out of recession and back into growth. It’s China’s turn, the theory goes, as American consumers — who propelled the last global boom with their borrowing and spending ways — have begun to tighten their belts and increase savings rates.

Get ready for your favorite spooky holiday with some romantic Halloween ideas! While one might not think a holiday filled with ghosts and goblins, witches and jack-o-lanterns as a time for romance, there are still many romantic things you can do to celebrate Halloween as a couple. Halloween is a great time to do many things together that you wouldn’t ordinarily do with one another.

I am 17 years old (turning 18 before the end of this year) and a freshman at a college 4 1/2 hours from home. My 21 year old boyfriend of six months will be graduating from college in May, while I will be transferring to a school 20 minutes away from both my parents and my boyfriend (who will be getting an apartment and doing pre-grad school work and working full time), the main reason for which is that they offer a rare program that focuses on my specific interest, and is about 1/3 the cost of my current college. My boyfriend has asked me to move in with him, and I am overjoyed. I would be almost 19 by the time, and he would have just turned 22.

Quiz time: Which of the following provisions has been tucked into the most closely watched health-care bill on Capitol Hill thanks to Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine? Is it a) an annual checkup for every Medicare beneficiary, b) a special health-insurance marketplace in every state that would cater to the needs of small businesses or c) new tax credits to help modest-size firms buy coverage for their workers?
The answer is all of the above.
