Sangria Cranberry Sauce
From Good Housekeeping Magazine, November 2006
1 lemon
1 lime
1 orange
1 bag (12 ounces) cranberries (3 cups), picked over
1 container (16 ounces) frozen strawberries in sugar, thawed
1 cup red wine
1 cup sugar
Directions
1. From lemon, grate 1 teaspoon peel and squeeze 3 tablespoons juice. From lime, grate 1 teaspoon peel and squeeze 2 tablespoons juice.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1 (8 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 dash ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
1. In a heavy saucepan, combine the cornstarch, brown sugar and orange juice until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened, Remove from the heat; stir in the cranberry sauce and cinnamon until blended.

Ingredients
1 16-ounce can jellied cranberry sauce
1 18-ounce bottle barbecue sauce
2 1-pound packages frozen cooked meatballs, thawed (32 per pound)
Directions
1. For sauce, in a large skillet stir together cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce. Cook over medium heat until cranberry sauce is melted, stirring occasionally.

If you've had a challenging morning at work, a good lunch can certainly lift your spirits and inspire you to carry on. For some, though, the motivation to prepare such a meal is hard to stir up, particularly at times when relaxing is what you want to do.
It's understandable that after a long day at the office, preparing and eating supper and getting things tidied up, the last thing many people want to do is think about what to make for lunch the next day.

One Hour before Dinner
Bake biscuits.
Fill small pitcher with half-and-half or milk for coffee -- cover and refrigerate. Fill sugar bowl.

Once you have this, you will not want cranberry sauce from a can again. I got this recipe years ago from an old boyfriend's mom. I have been making it every year since.

For The Syrup:
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
For The Pancakes:
1/2 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 cup + 2 Tablespoons buttermilk (regular milk will work)
2 large eggs
2 and 1/2 Tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
Prepare the syrup by heating both ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until cranberry sauce is incorporated. Reduce heat to low to keep warm.
