Creme Brulee French Toast pictureThis recipe is so delicious, I served it to my family on Christmas morning this past year and it was a big hit. I didn't use the Gran Marnier that time, but I'm sure the addition of that would be great too! It makes around 8 servings, so if you have a large group coming, I would recommend making 2 or making an accompanying dish to go with it.

I'm not big on perfumes that smell, you know, perfumey. I like to smell more like SOMETHING in particular, whether it's vanilla, lavender, citrus, etc.
Demeter makes amazing fragrances that smell like STUFF.

I made Yum's insanely good mac 'n' cheese recipe in some ramekins my mother in law gave me for creme brulee. The little tart-size dishes made the meal extra cute, and I substituted bacon for walnuts for extra yumminess. The combo of sharp gorgonzola, crisp apples and rich bacon was so good, literally one of the most delish things I've ever tasted, and I never would have thought of it on my own.

Creme Brulee in Honey for bath by Laura Mercier
Warning, while this honey for your relaxing, candle-lit bath shines, softens, and, yes, even makes you look more toned. You are not allowed to eat it. That's no matter how yummy it smells and feels!!

I stopped by ULTA today to pick up some new shampoo. An hour and many dollars later, here's what I bought:
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Shampoo and Daily Treatment
Daily Treatment (conditioner) not pictured because it looks the same as the shampoo bottle. I bought this becuase it's supposed to reduce puffiness and frizzies, and reduce drying time.

What a fantastic workshop! I like traveling for work when it's just a few days and I get a posh hotel with a rooftop pool! So, last night I flew in to Denver for a two day workshop.
