He's having a Baby
The pending arrival of a baby is a wonderful time! It doesn’t matter what the circumstances, when a new baby comes into the world, it is a true miracle. As is expected, much of the focus in the delivery room is on the woman.

My friend Holley (scottiegirl) and I were talking on the phone the other night and I was being silly (after a few :cocktail: ) and somehow got on the subject of delivery services.
Now I know you all have had those moments where you didn't want to go anywhere but you totally needed something like food, a specific item, medicine, etc.
Well Holley had said that she got her visit from Aunt Flo and needed tampons but didn't feel like getting dressed to run down to Target to get some.

I still have a while to go until I reach the nine month mark, but I am already starting to think about the playlist I want on my iPod for the delivery room. I couldn't have planned it any better when KT Tunstall sang loud and clear, "You can see she's a beautiful girl, she's a beautiful girl" as my daughter was pushed into this world.
Listening to lots of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and singing the ABCs has left me with a dry well of musical information.

- "Blackbird" by the Beatles
- "Lullabye" by the Dixie Chicks
- "Little Star" by Madonna
- "Another Sunny Day" and "If She Wants Me" by Belle and Sebastian
Keep sending me the love with song recommendations in comments below.

As the Senate prepares to take up health reform, senators should take note of the tremendous shift underway in the thinking of the American people.Historians may record that the Obama Administration and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi were the wake-up call which led Americans to recommit themselves to the core values of American civilization.
The net result of the Obama presidential campaign and a ten month campaign for government control of health care has been a decisive shift away from reliance on government and toward personal responsibility.
A Stunning 22-Point Shift Away From Government Responsibilty for Health Care
Polling data released last week by Gallup show a startling shift in public opinion: President Obama and Speaker Pelosi are actually convincing the country to rethink their attitudes and move toward the right and away from government solutions in health care (the same seems to be happening on spending, taxes, and how to create jobs, but that will be a future newsletter).
