Well folks, that’s it, no more True Blood this year. :( But, they did manage to go off in a blaze of glory.

Honestly, eggnog’s the least of it. In this busy tizzy of a season, it’s the grab-and-go foods you swore off only yesterday--the morning doughnut, the Whopper at the mall, the bag of chips that mysteriously fell into your grocery cart--that get to your hips.
Your choices: 1) Say what-the-hey, splurge, and pray.

I had to write a paper for my english class about the thing i struggle the most with. So naturally i wrote about food. Its not a true story, but parts of it are and its something we can all relate to.

Crab Cake Benedict
2 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 med onion, finely chopped (1/3 cup)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
Dash hot sauce ( optional)
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
16 oz lump crab ( ounces fresh cooked crab meat or canned crab meat, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed 1//2 cup panko bread crumbs or coarse bread crumbs
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for crab meat and bread . Gently fold in the crab meat and bread, being careful not to break the lumps. Shape into cakes.
