We've all been there, those days when we're feeling really low, its our time of the month or we've just ate a ton and feel bloated and not so sexy. A lot of us turn to the internet to calculate our BMI, get healthy eating tips or to get some info on the latest exercise breakthrough. However we've disturbingly discovered the new internet sites that are feeding into our bad body image – and they are by no means pro anorexia sites.

There is officially 7 days until my birthday and I still would like to lose a couple extra pounds.
I'm trying my hardest but my biggest problem is - I'M ALWAYS HUNGRY!!!!!! No matter how much fruit or complex carbs and fiber I eat, I'm hungry again in 2 hours!

So crispet1 and I were very psyched to step up to this month's challenge. We again teamed up and created two recipes--but what's unique is that both recipes started out with the same base ingredients: fresh Asian mangos, fat-free yogurt and vanilla ice cream.
And from these three basic ingredients, we came up with two great ice cream recipes: a mango frappe and a scoop of mango ice cream with sticky rice!

I love soup. Like, really really love it. I could eat it for every meal, every day of the week. And any kind of soup too--I don't think I've met a soup I didn't like. (Well, maybe if it was made with beets. But you never know!) The problem is I'm always so busy I never have a chance to cook for myself. I often find myself turning to canned chicken noodle soup from Cambells. Without a doubt, that's my comfort food and I'll never tire of it, but it's so much more fun to make your own! So I've decided to challenge myself. Each week I will make a new soup. I have tons of cookbooks to scour, so finding recipes shouldn't be a problem. I'll post my adventures here, and hopefully I'll inspire someone else!
(FYI: I started this little project during the first few days of October, so these first few posts will be catch-up. Plus, I didn't think to take pictures until recently, so for now most will be picture-less.)

While the kids go trick-or-treating this Halloween, the adults go out and party. One of the most amazing parties can be found in the Halloween season when everyone is dressed so outrageously, you can get away with wearing anything. If you're hosting the party, the biggest challenge that you will have to overcome is not about the food or the venue or the theme but it is actually about getting as much people to come to your party.

Some pro-life Catholics are acting shocked that the Vatican warmly greeted the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama, who is pro-abortion. They don't seem to understand that the Vatican and Obama agree on most major international issues. This is the untold story-how Obama and the Vatican accept major ingredients of what has been called a New World Order.
