Jennifer Aniston is planning to rediscover her Greek heritage with a trip to the country this summer.
The former Friends star was born in California but her father hails from the Greek island of Crete and the family’s real last name is Anastassakis. Aniston is reported to be learning the language ahead of her planned holiday to the country, which is on her list of “Things To Do Before I’m 40″.

Petros Restaurant

Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

I find Greek cuisine as one of the heartiest and healthiest food choices all around. And recently, one of our Greek friends just had her birthday and it was a no-brainer to check out Petros as it was just named "Top New Restaurant" by Zagat (and rightfully so).

I know I always clue everyone in on the absolute last minute but the GREEK marathon is on like now on ABC Family catching everybody up for the season premiere coming on at 8 tonight so if you forgot what happened on any of the episodes this might be an excellent time to turn to it.

Tonight for dinner I made Jen's Chicken Littles and GirlC's Easy Greek Salad. Since I was fresh out of Chick-Fil-A Honey Roasted sauce, I just gave the chicken a quick squirt of lemon. The kids LOVED it and kept asking for more.

Yet another allrecipes meal that I've taken and made my own with a few alterations.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 teaspoons butter, softened
2 - 3 slices whole wheat bread, or your favorite bread
2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
1 slice Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon chopped red (or white) onion
1/4 tomato, thinly sliced
I personally don't really like tomato, so I left that out and added a little garlic. Almost everything I cook tends to have a little garlic in it at some point!

Since I'm making this for the third time this summer, I thought I would share this recipe.
From: http://www.mediterrasian.com
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1½ tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic—minced (crushed)
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and extra for garnish
3 tomatoes—cut into wedges
¼ red onion—sliced into rings
½ cucumber—sliced into thick half-moons
½ green pepper (capsicum)—julienned
4 oz (120g) feta cheese—cut into small cubes
16 kalamata olives
PLACE the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and oregano in a small jar with a screw-top lid and shake to combine. PLACE the salad ingredients in a large bowl.

This next one is a greek video where basically they distinguish the differences between the VS Show and the Pirelli calender stating that the VS models are more famous. Then they say that in a recent survey a woman must show 40% of her body and the rest cover it with tight clothes in order to be sexy. I say just go with what is comfy and makes you feel sexy :)
