This is also from Totally Dairy-Free Cooking and no, I haven't tried it, but it looks easy and sounds delicious!
1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
4 Tbs tomato paste
1 1/2 oz tamari soy sauce
2 Tbs rice wine
2 Tbs chili garlic paste
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs olive oil
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
36 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 8-inch flour tortillas or corn tortillas
Guacamole (see my previous posted guac recipe)
Whisk all ingredients together except for the shrimp, chips and guacamole. Add shrimp, stir and refrigerate a minimum of 2 hrs, up to 24 hrs.

It can be a challenge to find dips and appetizers without dairy, but with guacamole, who needs dairy?
6-7 ripe avocados
3/4 C of your favorite salsa--I like Pace Picante, medium
1/2 tsp garlic salt, but use more or less according to your own taste
1-2 Tbs of lime juice, again to your own taste
1/2 C chopped cilantro (I think cilantro really makes it)!
Mash up the avocados to your liking.

4 ripe (but not too ripe) avocados (I use the black ones)
Chopped onion (about 6 TBSP)
Chopped tomato (about 8 TBSP) I take the seeds and juice out so not too runny)
1 lime
2 cloves garlic - crushed or chopped
pinch of kosher salt
Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop out all flesh into a bowl or a food processor. Smoosh with fork or pastry cutter, or process in processor well until mixed and smooth but still somewhat lumpy. Add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, garlic and salt, and stir until mixed.

I make my guac kind of chunky. Feel free to mince everything instead of dice it if you like things a bit creamier
INGREDIENTS:
(by the way, I don't really measure anything so I have to approximate everything)
4 large, ripe avocadoes
1 small red onion, diced
1 medium red pepper, diced
1/2 small ripe tomato, seeded and diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 jalapenos, minced
about a palmful of fresh cilantro, minced
juice of two limes
drizzle of olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Halve the avocadoes and scoop the pulp into a large, non-reactive bowl. Mash up the pulp with a large fork, wooden spoon, or (my favorite) a potato masher.

Had work this Saturday morning which I found surprisingly enjoyable. I finally got to wear my harem pants from Zara that I bought a couple weeks back with my mum. They are the comfiest pants I've ever worn!

Full disclosure: Dreama Walker is one of my nearest and dearest. A friend of over 17 years (I’m 25 – do the math, yo), Dreama and I grew up together in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida. With a rapidly blossoming career (Gossip Girl, Gran Torino, Sex and the City, The End of Steve, In the Meantime), Walker is without a doubt an actress to watch out for!

This dip is really easy, and I often make it for parties because it's very popular
I don't really have exact measurements for anything. Just wing it!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cans refried beans
1 can black beans
1 packet taco seasoning
1 small container cream cheese
1 jar salsa (I use Tostito's brand medium salsa)
2 cups guacamole (storebought, make your own, or try my recipe here)
1 medium tomato, diced
3 scallions, chopped
2 cups shredded cheese (I just buy the taco mix from the dairy section)
2 jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup sliced black olives
PREPARATION:
Combine the refried beans, black beans, and taco seasoning together until well-mixed
In a large bowl or container (I usually use a 9x13 inch baking pan), spread the beans as easily as possible across the bottom.
