Since we are now petless, we've both been looking around at others. However, I personally don't plan on us getting another dog until we're firmly in a new home and Jackson is three or four years old. I hate to go that long without a pet, but it seems to make the most sense as far as getting settled and making sure Jackson is going to be comfortable and have a little friend to grow up with.

When I was in 5th grade, we got a Heinz 57 mutt from the local pound. She was a great companion to the chocolate lab we already had, and she's been a terrific dog. When I left for college, I lived in an apartment and couldn't bring her with me, so she stayed back in Florida with my dad.

Sunday was burger day at our house. It was hot and sunny and the day screamed, "It is Summer!!!"
So, we went and did our grocery shopping and I whipped up some fantastic burgers.
