Here's a debate question. Which do you prefer? Homemade facials, or store bought ones?

It rained all day the other day and my boyfriend had to work all day in it and came home soaked. He said he wanted soup, even thought its summer. Well, I thought of this little trick I do to make "homemade" soup if I have no time.

To be totally honest—the Wii game, "Cooking Mama" really got me into cooking. I thought, "I'm 23 and I only know how to cook eggs. Sad."

Oh yeah, that's right, I went and made both recipes this week out of pure, driven ambition. Or boredom. You decide.

A long, long time ago my parents allowed me to take from their home an electric donut maker:
(this is post donut making)
I found this Pumpkin Bread mix at Trader Joe's:
Today I decided that it would be interesting to see if I could use the mix to make donuts (I have misplaced the booklet that goes with the donut maker that has the recipes in it- I have it but it is packed somewhere.) This is the result:
I coated them in cinnamon sugar. Let me tell you...they are AMAZING!!!!!
You can find a similar donut maker here:
http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/BlinQ-Donut-Maker/3514553/product.html
I think it might make smaller donut but it is the closest thing I could find.

Well, I want to post this for everybody because it is for all skin types and this nourishes your face.
Apply a good liquid honey added with some drops of lemon juice. Keep it on your face for atleast 20 min and then remove it with warm water!

Does anyone here make their own baby food?
I'm a single mom of a 4 month old and he's started eating a little bit of Stage 1 fruits & veggies (after getting the Doc's advice, of course).
I'm thinking that the already made stuff that you buy in the store obviously has preservatives and stuff like that in it and I would much rather try to make his food at home so I know for a fact of what is in it.

Clean & Green
Here's a collection of my favorite natural cleaning formulas, concoctions
and witches brews. MOST are safe and nontoxic, with a few exceptions which are clearly noted.
Use the ingredients listed below when making your own alternative cleaners, most are
inexpensive and you probably already have many of them in your kitchen cupboards.
