You can still order a Bloomin' Onion at Outback Steakhouse, a slice of 30th anniversary chocolate cake cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory, and a Pizookie at BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse.
But you'll have a harder time enjoying them in blissful ignorance. Since July 1, chains with at least 20 restaurants statewide have been required to provide diners with the gory nutritional details -- including calories.

I made this for dinner tonight. It's so easy and it turned out tasty so I thought I would share. Enjoy!

I was a latecomer to the wonderful world of grilled cheese. When I was younger, I didn't eat much cheese, due to apparent insanity, and when I got a little older, I honestly thought that you couldn't make grilled cheese without using American cheese.
Sooooo not a fan of American cheese.

CANEYVILLE, Ky. – Thousands of National Guard troops swinging chainsaws cut their way into remote communities Sunday to reach residents stranded by a deadly ice storm, freeing some to get out of their driveways for the first time in nearly a week.
The soldiers went door-to-door handing out chili and beef stew rations to people cooped up in their powerless homes as authorities ratcheted up the relief effort for what Gov.

Summer is right around the corner and nothing says summer like grilling. This fuss-free veggie dish can be prepared ahead and kept at room temperature before being tossed with the greens. The recipe contains quite a high percentage of calories from fat because of the olive oil, but the total calorie count is pretty low.

Tequila Lime Chicken
2-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
(whole or cut in strips)
1 shot Tequila (shot glass is 1 oz I think)
1 shot lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste, should be
pretty salty though)
Black pepper to taste
1 shot oil (I use olive oil, but vegetable
oil works too)
Cajun seasoning to taste (or paprika
or cayenne)
Mix all ingredients but chicken in a bowl. Pour
marinade into freezer bag with chicken, seal
with as little air in the bag as possible.
Marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
(if possible, you can do less if you are pressed
for time).

With most of our major projects now complete, my husband and I have been spending quite a lot of time on our patio and he's been continuing to encourage me to add another piece of artwork to the set, telling me that the space between our storage fridge and the grill "seems a bit too bare".
After due consideration I agreed with him and we've been discussing the theme of the painting over the course of the last few days. Given that the primary use of the space is to be an outdoor dining room and entertainment area, I thought that a still life of vegetables and fruit might be the most appropriate and that the subject would balance well with The Farmer's Wife privacy screen.

When I saw this, i thought it was very interesting... fruit soup? But when I looked at the pictures and read the recipe, it sounded soooo good for when you are staying indoors, reading a book, in a cold rainy and wintery weather :).

I was looking for a new yummy standby (things I already have in my cabinet) chicken recipe and found this at EatingWell.com. I served it with some roasted asparagus and jasmine rice. Very very tasty...
