So here are some pics of the big day, unfortunately I did not get any snaps of the food. It wasnt around very long. We had chicken kabob, sirloin steak burgers, brats, german potato salad, cucumber and bowties salad, spinach dip and bean dip and ....chocolate covered strawberries and smores!

I picked this up at the store the other day and used it for this evening's chicken kabobs. It says it only needs 30 minutes, but the chicken breast I used was marinated in it for almost three days, as I was too lazy to make them on Wednesday night, as planned, and yesterday was Thanksgiving. Anyway, it's now marketed by Annie's, but this picture says Consorzio.

Tender Persian chicken and lemon potatoes made in the dutch oven.
My baby and I love Persian food, even though neither of us are Persian or middle eastern but I did used to live in Saudi Arabia when I was a kid bc my dad had a job there as a doctor. ANYWAYS!

I don't know about anyone else out there, but working full time can take a toll on your lunch creativity. When it comes to getting up early enough to make a decent packed lunch, vs. sleeping in, i opt for more sleep.

Mitch Hedberg is my favorite comedian of all time. His style (random non-sequiturs) reminded me of old-school Stephen Wright.
Hedberg sadly died in March of 2005 of a drug overdose.
