hey all -- i've really been enjoying all the great posts on fitsugar and the helpful tips everyone offers, and i want to throw my own into the mix.
since i started watching my food intake more carefully about 2 years ago, i've discovered and fallen in love with lean cuisine meals -- they're the only brand that to me actually tastes like GOOD FOOD, and they really help me from eating too much at lunch time.
but after a while, even as they added new combinations, i was getting soooo bored and craving something more substantial.

Hello all!
At last blog I mentioned dieting and quitting smoking all together at once. Well.

So I am four weeks in to my post-college graduate life and here I am doing nothing. (Well I did have a meeting with a career counselor at my Alma mater but I haven't done anything after the meeting. And I do have a part-time job but only work like three times out of the week for no more than five hours.)
I'm just, ugh, I don't know....lazy, unmotivated, tired and sluggish.

Not long ago I had an apple problem. Wavering in the produce section of a Manhattan grocery store, I was unable to decide between an organic apple and a nonorganic apple (which was labeled conventional, since that sounds better than "sprayed with pesticides that might kill you"). It shouldn't have been a tough choice--who wants to eat pesticide residue?--but the organic apples had been grown in California.

I found this interesting and helpful for people that are watching out what their eating.
I got this from Yahoo Health, posted by Joy Bauer.
Who would of thought that baked sweet potato fries had 0 grams of fat?!

I think most people have a go-to dinner when they're feeling kind of lazy but still want something good. Mine used to be things like Lean Cuisine, but that was before I removed refined carbs and sugars from my diet... now most of them don't abide by my diet standards.

I'm only on the second full week of trying to lose weight and I'm experiencing a little boredom with the foods I eat. Anytime I'm following Weight Watchers I tend to rely on the same groups of foods: Lean Cuisines, bag salad mixes, baby carrots, light string cheese and fat free pudding cups. And of course for dining out, I'm constantly at Subway.
