Went on a third date with the irresistibly handsome Mr. I'minlikewithyou and had the most amazing fish dish at Aziza a Moroccan place and Stanlee Gatti's favorite restaurant. I had heard that the service was bad, but we sat at the bar and had a wonderful intimate time and shared a bottle of Rhone.

Yesterday CasaSugar posted a piece on staircase design, particularly highlighting the creative work one Sugar did on her risers up her staircase (Cool Idea: A Damask Makeover). The piece reminded me of the work that Melanie of Modello Designs did at the Peacock Pavilions in Morocco.
Many of you know that my sister, Bizzybee, and I just returned from Morocco and are further inspired by the beautiful designs and motifs we saw.

Upon arriving in Morocco, I had originally been booked to stay at Riad Monceau located in the Old Souk area, which had been booked via Expedia.com. However, after traveling more than 30 hours, we arrived at Monceau and were told they had no record of our reservation despite the fact that we had our confirmation in hand and I had email confirmation for dinner that evening (booked a month in advance). You can only imagine our panic and our exhaustion; this is not how we anticipated beginning our vacation!

Weeks after an Australian variety show made headlines around the world after a group of white performers donned blackface to perform as the Jackson brothers, Tyra Banks is making headlines herself for turning her latest "America's Next Top Model" candidates bi-racial for a photo shoot.
During Wednesday night's "ANTM" episode on The CW, Tyra took the remaining six young women of Cycle 13 to Hawaii, where she took pictures of the models after they were transformed into different races.
Tyra told bleach blonde Erin Wagner she was going to be "Tibetan, like the Dali Lama, and Egyptian"; Southern belle Laura Kirkpatrick was put into makeup to look "Mexican and Greek"; Jennifer An, who is Korean, was told she was going to be "Botswanan and Polynesian"; African-American Sundai Love was made to look "Moroccan and Russian"; redheaded Nicole Fox was "Malagasy and Japanese," while blonde Brittany Markert was put into makeup to look "Native American and East Indian."
