After seeing BabySugar's ghostly cupcakes, I wanted to bake something Halloweenish for my wee ones. I was thrilled when I found these simple and adorable marshmallow skulls – a perfect decoration for a Halloween baked good. With only a bag of marshmallows, color sprinkles and a knife, I turned a regular marshmallow into a spooky skull.

Every weekend I have this little obsession of browsing through the recipes of Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Martha Stewart & Sunset magazines in search for a little inspiration or a recipe that is unique and fun. This Sunday I had a hankering for something Fall, Halloween themed and Sassy. Something that I could easily ship to work to feed my coworkers and something that I could add a personal twist too.

Makes between 16 and 24 individual rolls
I ran out of cinnamon before making these rolls, so instead substituted dried ginger and cardamom, which I can highly recommend if you are making these rolls with peaches or pears. But, go lightly on the spice in this case… a little cardamom and ginger is a nice touch, a lot and you won’t taste anything else for the rest of the day.
1 medium russet potato
2 t active dry yeast
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 t salt
6 T unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
4 to 5 cups of all purpose flour
2-4 T of softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 T ground cinnamon
2 large peaches, pealed and sliced into wedges
Peel the potato and cut it into small pieces.

This recipe is a total fluke and a little odd, but the half hour pause which I'm nervous to take out was because I had to go to the shops and buy eggs half way through making them. Here goes: 1 large orange
250 gr butter
250 gr sugar
200 gr flour
4 tbsp chocolate drinking powder (nesquik or other)
200 gr bar of dark chocolate, broken into bits
3 eggs
Purée the orange and sieve, although I didn't, I just picked out the seeds. Then in a bowl or a blender, with the orange juice/pulp add the butter, sugar, flour, drinking chocolate and the dark chocolate.

Miniature Molten Chocolate cake topped with fresh whipped cream
I used the little nut and party cups which are 3 1/4 oz. I think the texture was fine but too sweet? Made this a while ago so don't really recall but I do remember enjoying the sight of my fork tearing through it and 'molten chocolate' oozing out.
