Every weekend I have this little obsession of browsing through the recipes of Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Martha Stewart & Sunset magazines in search for a little inspiration or a recipe that is unique and fun. This Sunday I had a hankering for something Fall, Halloween themed and Sassy. Something that I could easily ship to work to feed my coworkers and something that I could add a personal twist too.

“It’s perfectly healthy,” the former dancer, 33, tells Us of her plan. And the results of her regime speak for themselves in the super-fit physiques of clients Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, not to mention her own transformation (the 5-foot mom dropped from 140 to 95 pounds).

There is much talk about milk and how it affects your body and its relation to several illnesses. For me, I was urged by my doctors to lay off the moo juice and its products to help alleviate my symptoms of Endometriosis. So far, it has worked and has done wonders for my digestive system (as well as my weight)!

Violet Milk Cleanser-Add 1 tsp violet petals to 1/4 cup milk. Heat gently until nearly simmering, and keep heating gently until the milk is strongly violet-scented. Strain, bottle, keep in the fridge and use within three or four days.

At the end of a long day, it's always nice to come home and relax, particularly when that relaxation involves a bathtub, a glass of wine, and some music. It's the best way to destress and wash away all your cares of the day, particularly during the summer.
So, tonight, after you walk in the door and kick off your shoes, take an hour or so and treat yourself to a little time in the tub.

This recipe is pretty fattening. You can make substitutions for some of the ingredients to make it less fattening, but it's not quite as tasty.
***Note: I don't use measuring cups usually, so some of my measurements are estimates
INGREDIENTS:
4 chicken breasts
2-3 large zucchini, sliced
5-6 scallions, sliced
1 stick butter
1/4 cup flour
4-5 large cloves garlic, minced
1 cup milk (nonfat is fine)
chicken broth
1 package cream cheese, softened
salt and pepper to taste
Rice, prepared
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt 1/2 the stick of butter in a large pan.
