Maybe I'm being irrational, but I'd like to submit for everyone a problem I have with my boyfriend. I don't need to, but I'll start by saying he's a great guy... tells me every day he loves me, is always very respectful and appreciative for the things I do for him. However, we are at different levels of comfort with roommate situations.

50 Emergency Uses for Your Camera Phone by Paul Purcell In an emergency you'll not only need to provide and receive help, but after the event is over, you'll face the prospect of return, repair, and rebuilding. Central to all these activities is communication and documentation. Everything in our society carries a heaping helping of red tape, and disasters are no different.

I love buying fresh from the market in season. It is a delicious and inexpensive source of fruit and veggies. Before winter I like to stock up on niblets corn, peaches, pineapple tidbits, when there is a sale on.

Kitchen WisdomStuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of an ice cream cone to prevent ice cream drips.Just suck the ice cream out of the bottom of the cone, for Pete's sake! You are probably lying on the couch with your feet up eating it anyway! To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.Buy Hungry Jack mashed potato mix. Keeps in the pantry for up to a year. When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.Go to the bakery!

Today I realized that I always mention my favorite cereals on Fit's blogs (when talking about healthy brands etc...) however I never shared them in a blog. I wanted to post this in case you haven't tried these or wanted to know the nutrional facts behind them. I always keep these three cerals in stock.

In the September issue of Woman's Day they have a section about the Budget Cook and how to eat well despite any budgetary restraints. And they have some really neat ideas! So I figured I'd do ahead and share...

I am an animal lover and I know that I sort of went into my feelings about them before in another blog, but I thought I would write another one. Just in case you do not know who PETA is you can go to www.peta.org to get the full aspect on PETA, but be warned, there is some graphic material on there. Basically PETA is "People for the ethical treatment of animals", which basically they state that animals should not be used for any kind of meat, fur, or be used in any way such as pulling farm equipment, having jobs, etc.

WASHINGTON (AP) - When President Barack Obama increased unemployment benefits as part of his economic stimulus, he also made some Americans ineligible for hundreds of dollars a month in food stamps.
Under the economic recovery plan, laid-off workers have seen a $25 weekly bump in their unemployment checks as part of a broad expansion of benefits for the poor. But the law did not raise the income cap for food stamp eligibility, so the extra money has pushed some people over the limit.

WILDWOOD CREST - Anyone seeking instruction on kindness need only turn to 9-year-old Brad Altman and his classmates.
The group of fourth-graders collected the most food items of any class at Crest Memorial School during the school's annual Thanksgiving food drive, guidance counselor Karyl Palmer said.
And one of Brad's fellow students added, "He gets 75 percent of the credit."

The scene inside and outside a food bank in Egg Harbor Township on Tuesday showed exactly how the slow economy is pummeling charities just before the holiday season.
By 11 a.m., a dozen people stood in a biting wind outside the Com-munity FoodBank of New Jersey. Before the stock market began its plunge in September, only a few would show up.
