New products are critical to the fashion world and when an important brand like Affliction launches a new line, we quickly review the product line to see if fashion consumers will be excited too. In the case of the new Affliction Womens Clothing, I know people will be excited because it is truly unique to the fashion world. The Women's Affliction Collection delivers its own unique look, fabrics and finishes, creating the perfect combination of artistic inspiration and fashion ed hardy belts with a sophisticated rock and roll aesthetic.

Each year on her birthday, Ann Hernandez and her boyfriend, Alan Tomaska, would settle on the rocky shore of Thacher Island and uncork a bottle of champagne in a toast to the day. When the bottle was empty and the tide going out, Hernandez would tuck a handwritten message inside and Tomaska would hurl the bottle over the rocks and into the crashing surf.
Tomaska considered the ritual a lark.

Surreal” is a word that perfectly suits Robert Pattinson’s life at the moment.
Not only is the up-and-comer adjusting to a new, hyper-famous life after Twilight’s rabid fan base sunk their teeth into his brooding portrayal of the undead romantic hero Edward Cullen (and became as addicted to the newly minted star as the saga’s vampire clan is to hemoglobin), he’s also playing the famed Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in his latest film. Little Ashes chronicles Dalí’s formative years at university, where he became embroiled in a complex, obsessive and sexually charged relationship with future poet Federico García Lorca.

MSNBC’s The Scoop reports that Tom Cruise was so afraid of the inevitable negative reviews of his bloated Nazi movie Valkyrie that he offered journalists a free screening at his mansion in exchange for some kind words. I wonder if they included a complimentary stress test with that. (You know I’m not going to be the only one to make that joke today.) It’s unclear if the screening actually happened or if it was just planned:
“Distractingly bad,” and “unengaging Nazi escapade” are among some of the reviewers’ comments attached to “Valkyrie,” Tom Cruise’s film that opens Christmas day.

One of my New Years resolutions was to start having breakfast every morning. I stopped eating breakfast in high school because my genius friends and I thought it would help us lose weight :OY: and now I haven't had it for so long that if I try to eat in the morning.. I get sick.

It’s all about the Brangelina twins today, and since Angelina reportedly wants to shed that moniker I’ve decided to use it as much as possible. It’s a lot easier than calling them Knox and Vivienne, which sounds suspiciously similar to the names J.Lo chose for her fraternal boy and girl twins, Max and Emme.
There are new details emerging about the birth of the twins that seems like way too much information.

Lately, I've been all about the gifts and goodies - looking for new ideas to share and fun things to make for friends and family. Therefore, the majority of my time in the library has been reserved to this particular section.
And, well, this weekend, Jackpot!
