Hello Members,
How is everybody doing? I hope that everybody is having a great day.
So I was googling some ideas for the group on how to be better vegetarians for those of the members that are vegetarians.

I am an animal lover and I know that I sort of went into my feelings about them before in another blog, but I thought I would write another one. Just in case you do not know who PETA is you can go to www.peta.org to get the full aspect on PETA, but be warned, there is some graphic material on there. Basically PETA is "People for the ethical treatment of animals", which basically they state that animals should not be used for any kind of meat, fur, or be used in any way such as pulling farm equipment, having jobs, etc.

((Some local drama, Petaluma is pretty well known in my area for having pothole filled roads. I read today that the mayor ended up turning down both offers))
Animal rights activists are clucking over Petaluma’s plans to allow the KFC restaurant chain to fix potholes in the city.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said Tuesday the company sells “cruelly produced products” and should not be permitted to stencil its logo over repaired spots in the pavement.

Hello Members,
How is everybody? I hope that everybody is having a great day.
I was looking at the PETA website and I noticed that their is a place where you can get a startup kit for becoming a vegetarian.

There is a really funny website that I adore called PassiveAggressiveNotes.com. It features real letters, notes, and postings people have sent in that are either passive aggressive, all-out aggressive, obsessive, or things that should just have been said outright instead of posted in a note. WASHINGTON — The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House.
PETA is sending President Barack Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.
"We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals," PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said Wednesday.

Pamela Anderson has joined forces with PETA to launch an attack against Giorgio Armani for his use of fur in his new collection.
Last year Armani told Time magazine that PETA had convinced him to drop fur from his collection. But he clearly had a change of heart because his new collection includes fur coats for babies, floral-printed fur coats, fur-hemmed skirts and fur-trimmed jackets.

PETA and Beyonce have finally kissed and made up after a long cold war. PETA agreed to get off Beyonce's ass after they learned that she's given up fur for good. They even sent her a fake fur throw as a wedding present.

PETA needs to take it down a notch. They have nothing better to do than to lash out at celebrities. And just when we thought they were done with Sharon Stone, she's in trouble with them again.
