Someone posted a 90's playlist on here the other day, and it got me to thinking about what the 90's meant for me. I decided to make a playlist of the songs that I loved the most during that decade. I was in high school in the 90's and a lot of the music that I enjoyed at that time was due to where I was in my life at the time I suppose.

This playlist is still a bit of a work in progress, but I thought I'd go ahead and share it anyway.
What makes a song romantic to me often-times is if I associate it with a particularly romantic scene in a film. Like Tori Amos's Kissing in the Rain, from Great Expectations.

I have been losing steam at the gym lately - I can no longer handle my current playlist.. I have lots of 80s music and some indie rock that doesn't really make me want to run..
Does anyone have any good suggestions for a new playlist??

So today I found almost all of my playlists are plagued by the 30 second previews. So, instead of posting an IMEEM playlist, I am sharing a really great online radio site that I listen to pretty often. If you are a Ramones fan, they do have an all-Ramones/Ramones inspired station.

Moving this to LAP so I can get some more suggestions :highfive:
Blasphemous Rumours - Depeche Mode
I am up late tonight working on our Halloween costume party playlist. I love this one - it completely sets the mood and then your ass is going to dance. Ghost Town, by the Specials and Angel, by Massive Attack are also on the agenda - what wouldn't you leave out?

This Super Awesome playlist is still a bit of a work in progress... For some reason most of the songs on it are a bit dark and dreary. I swear I am not in a dark and dreary mood these days, but these songs have just pulled at me.

Here is a playlist that Hip Hop and Indie listeners alike might enjoy. The Hood Internet is a MP3 website that create mashups between hip hop artists and indie/rock bands and musicians. For instance, think El-P vs The White Rabbits, or Snoop Dogg vs Architecture in Helinski.
