Yesterday, I had a crummy, stressful day at work. It was one of those days when the higher-ups are freaking out about an impossible deadline at the end of the week, getting everyone else all stirred up and anxious, only to find out later that the deadline is actually two weeks away. It was frustrating and tiring.

At first I thought, 'man that's ugly'. But then I thought...mm, but somehow it's kind of a cute display for a wedding.

Hi everone,
Here's a quick post of my current nails. I was in the mood for a natural colour on my nails, so I took up Pound cake by Essie. The only thing was, that after 1 day I was sick of it so I had to liven it up with the Konad plate M60.

Orange Blossom Sour Cream Pound Cake
Adapted from Sour Cream Pound Cake at The Wandering Eater
This recipe whips up a lot of extra batter. I had enough for the loaf as well as 10 cupcakes. Also, the orange blossom flavor was very subtle and only noticeable in the crust - an additional bit of orange extract or fresh orange peel would have been good.

TORONTO – Art experts believe they have identified a new Leonardo da Vinci — in part by examining a fingerprint on the canvas.
Peter Paul Biro, a Montreal-based forensic art expert, said Tuesday that a fingerprint on what was presumed to be a 19th-century German painting of a young woman has convinced art experts that it's actually a da Vinci.
Canadian-born art collector Peter Silverman bought "Profile of the Bella Principessa" at the Ganz gallery in New York on behalf of an anonymous Swiss collector in 2007 for about $19,000.
