Authorities investigating allegations that Miss Puerto Rico Universe Ingrid Marie Rivera's dress and makeup were sabotaged with pepper spray during a Nov. 24 pageant in San Juan found no traces of the substance in her belongings, Reuters reports.

Miss Puerto Rico Ingrid Marie Rivera says her alleged pepper-spray incident – and the controversy it has sparked – will not trip her up on the road to the Miss Universe pageant.
"Now I'm heading to Miss Universe," Rivera, 24, told Meredith Vieira during a friendly interview on Wednesday's Today show. "Where you got a will, there's a way.

These were taken on 11.12.08. We really didn't do much in Puerto Rico. We only had 5 hours to spend on the island so all we did was walk around, take pictures, and of course go shopping!

I am leaving to PR on Saturday morning and I know this is kind of a last minute request, but I need help on what to pack to look fabulous. I know my cousin and I will be doing some golfing, site seeing and dancing. Of course the beach portion of my wardrobe is already covered.

The island of Enchantment is truly full of encantos, joyful people and amazing sights! We went to the Observatory in Arecibo yesterday and then hiked up in the rainforest and explored a humongous sinkhole called of the 3 Pueblos, it was awesome! We are having a blast visiting Old San Juan, fortresses and getting our way around the island by bus!

NEW YORK — New York City is buying one-way plane tickets for homeless families to leave the city.
It's part of a program by Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration to keep the homeless out of the expensive shelter system, which costs $36,000 a year per family.
More than 550 families have left the city since 2007.

MIAMI — A Roman Catholic priest who admitted this month that he was torn between two loves — his church and his girlfriend — announced his choice on Thursday. The priest, the Rev. Alberto Cutié, said he was joining the Episcopal Church and planning to marry his girlfriend of two years, who was also becoming an Episcopalian.
