To be honest the majority of the time, I don't like Martha Stewart recipes as they are usually unnecessarily complicated but I happened across this incredibly easy Martha Stewart recipe for a quick puff pastry dessert.
It only required puff pastry, an egg lightly beaten, sugar for sprinkling, chocolate chips, honey, almond slices and sea salt. Simply defrost the puff pastry, place it on a cookie sheet and create a 1/2 inch crust all the way around and prick the middle of the dough with a fork to avoid air bubbles.

Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream & Almond Puff Pastry Sandwiches
Modified from Batch Family Mountain and Epicurious
For the ice cream:
1 1/2 cups sliced Bing, Lapin or Sweetheart cherries
1 pint whipping cream
1 pint half and half
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup shaved dark chocolate (or to taste)
For the puff pastry:
1 sheet frozen puff pastry (half of 17.3-ounce package), thawed
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup sliced almonds (I was lazy and processed mine in a food processor)
1 large egg white
Whisk whipping cream, half and half, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add cherries and stir. Chill mixture for 30 minutes in freezer.
Meanwhile make the puff pastry: preheat oven to 400°F.

Who doesn't love a savory tart? For an afternoon brunch, I rolled up my sleeves to make a mouth-watering puff pastry tart topped with ricotta cheese, caramelized onions, and homemade olive tapenade. The anchovies are initially pungent, but once they reduce and caramelize with the onions, their flavor mellows immensely.

Went to Cost Co this weekend and they had the most amazing asparagus so I bought a package. Ate some with steak on Monday but last night I made the tart below for a get together with the girls. It was pretty amazing and received rave reviews.

I made this recipe today from Rachael Ray Magazine Aug. 07. I made it as a lunch instead of breakfast and it was so filling.
