In a small rural dusty town in Texas lived a homely redhead, scrawny and awkward with freckles appearing to bloom over her face like the small flowers across the prairie. I recently found that old Reader's Digest anthologies have beautiful patterns under fairly nondescript covers. I have used them as decor around my place and currently have them in my work room in small shelves.
