Why The Hills and The City are my favourite hangover cures...
When I first heard about reality TV 'The Hills' I scoffed that it would be sad to sit and watch people doing day to day things on MTV such as sipping cocktails and chatting about boys on the couch. However I found myself enthralled in one certain episode one eve at home (which I later denied) and decided I wouldn't tell a soul about my newfound junk TV obsession.

One of the contestants on late-night Fox Reality Channel show “Paradise Hotel 2″ climbed up a tall phone tower and jumped to his death in an apparent suicide after being eliminated. Nathan Clutter, 26, died in what was described in Broadcasting and Cable magazine as a “climbing accident” on October 12, 2006. Police sources tell the Enquirer that an investigation determined that it was a suicide.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - U.S. television viewers looking to settle back into such favorite series as "Desperate Housewives," "CSI" and "The Office" will be in for a rude awakening after the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
Fresh episodes of those shows and many others will be replaced by a glut of reality programs and reruns headed to the major networks in January as the Hollywood writers strike comes home to roost in prime time after first hitting late-night TV.

Ewan McGregor hypes up his new reality TV show, Long Way Down, during the FOX Reality Channel 2008 Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
In Long Way Down, the 37-year-old actor and his pal Charley Boorman ride motorcycles from Scotland to South Africa to raise money for charity. The travel adventure show will premiere on the Fox Reality Channel on Saturday, August 2nd.

43 year-old sometimes actress Elizabeth Hurley is resorting to reality television to make some cash and prolong her waning fame. The British star known for wearing a safety pin dress and getting cheated on by Hugh Grant is going to start her own “Simple Life” type reality show. In her statement acknowledging the show, Hurley suggests that she’s going to be playing at rural life, and admits that even her husband was surprised to see her stuck in the mud for the first time:
Elizabeth Hurley is currently working on her own reality television program, which will focus on the life of the former actress in a country setting.

Coolio was once cool. With the release of “Gangsta’s Paradise” in 1995, he was on top of the charts and equal with Snoop Dogg in urban music popularity. But somehow he lost the momentum and his subsequent releases failed to make a mark.

you were holding your breath for a Guns N' Roses reality show its time to exhale because it was nothing but a rumor.
The band has released a statement insisting they have no plans to venture into the world of reality TV.
It reads, "Despite rumors floating around the internet, Guns N' Roses will not be appearing on any reality TV program to promote their forthcoming album, Chinese Democracy or for any other reason."

Our readers in the UK can rejoice. There will be no reality show starring Liz Hurley trudging through the mud in her Wellies while she bends over to weed, her boobs hanging out of her t-shirt. The show has been scrapped due to Liz’s excessive demands.
