WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – James and Maria Ivory's dreams of a relaxing retirement on Florida's Gulf Coast were put on hold when they discovered their new home had been built with Chinese drywall that emits sulfuric fumes and corrodes pipes. It got worse when they asked their insurer for help — and not only was their claim denied, but they've been told their entire policy won't be renewed.

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can’t wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that’s not only better, but also more directly involves me.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
I don't understand the purpose of the line, "I don't need to drink to have fun."

Here's the dilemma: For my wedding *yes, it was two years ago we got TONS of silverware. In fact, we had so many extra sets that we returned a lot of them and now have a gift certificate to Dillards (since they only give store credit). I've used up part of it but still have $100 left.

Place a piece of white chalk in your silver chest or jewel
box to absorb moisture and help prevent tarnishing of
silverware and jewelry.

Keep the linings from cereal boxes~they make great
substitutes for waxed paper!

Guest helps
I hang an over the door shoe organizer on the back of the door of our guest room. In each of the different clear pockets I may include the following: a map of the local area, sun lotion, soaps and shampoos (usually the free hotel ones or samples), note cards, a good paper back book (with a note saying to take it with them if they haven't finished), candies, a flash light, a variety of medications and personal items, a couple of stamps, postcards from the surrounding area, etc. My guests seem to really appreciate it.

From daily smog to the rising threat of global warming, it’s pretty obvious that we all need to clean up our act a little. Much has been said about how to go about doing this at home, but what about in the workplace? Copiers, computers, even old floppy disks, can make a huge impact on the environment.

I have come 500 miles
Just to see a halo
Come from St. Petersburg
Scarlett and me
Well I open my eyes
I was blind as can be
When you give a man luck
He must fall in the sea
And she wants you
To steal and get caught
For she loves you
For all that you are not
When you're
Falling down, falling down
When you're falling down
Falling down, falling down
You forget all the roses
Don't come around on sunday
She's not gonna choose you
For standing so tall
Go on and take a swig
Of that poison and like it
And don't ask
For silverware
Don't ask for nothing
Go on and put your ear
To the ground
You know you will be
Hearing that sound
Falling down
You're falling down
Falling down, falling down
Falling down, falling down
When you're falling down
Falling down, falling down
Go on down and see
That wrecking ball
Come swinging on along
Everyone knew
That hotel was a goner
They broke all the windows
They took all the door knobs
And they hauled it away
In a couple of days
Now someone yell timber
And take off your hat
It's a lot smaller down
Here on the ground
You're falling down
Falling down, falling down
Falling down, falling down
Falling down
Someone's falling down
Falling down, falling down
Falling down, falling down
Falling down

My boyfriend's brother is coming to visit us next weekend, and we kind of let our place go over the holidays, so today we cleaned our asses off. And, maybe it's because I'm totally hormonal, but as I dusted, scrubbed, swept, and straightened every nook and cranny of our apartment, I realized that I hate almost everything we own.
When we moved in, almost a year and a half ago, I had all these lofty decorating plans, but a week later we got the puppy, and he was SO much work (and SO much money because of his surgery) that I put off spending any time or money on the apartment.
