Here's the dilemma: For my wedding *yes, it was two years ago we got TONS of silverware. In fact, we had so many extra sets that we returned a lot of them and now have a gift certificate to Dillards (since they only give store credit). I've used up part of it but still have $100 left.

First Cut Four or Five Large Potatoes and Cut them in Half Lengthwise
Place Potato in Slicer....(or you can cut by hand if you have the time and energy ;)
Pull Handle down and the Potato will move through the slcer cutting them into...

I got this for Christmas because I was sick of my little ghetto one-cup food processor.
Product Features
14-cup food processor with 450-watt motor reduces prep time in the kitchen
Extra-large adjustable feed chute; 4 speeds plus pulse control; 4-position locking bowl
Stainless-steel mixing/chopping blade, reversible slicer/shredder, bonus slicing disc, and spatula included
In-bowl blade storage; dishwasher-safe bowl, lid, and blades for quick cleanup
Measures approximately 14 by 10 by 18 inches; 1-year limited warranty
It works EXTREMELY well chopping most things, but it's too big to chop garlic, which is what I like to use it for most. The cloves of garlic just fall beneath the blades.

Grilled Steak on Arugula
Grilled Steak on Arugula
Notes: You can slice the artichokes up to 1 hour before serving; if you can't find baby artichokes, omit them. Buy a block of parmesan cheese larger than needed (at least 4 oz.) so you can shave curls from it. Drizzle the steak with a Tuscan or other peppery olive oil.

Okay, this is my final entry in my series of Jewish recipes. Unless I think of something else.
These are so amazing!
