More and more people have their own Camcorder to record their life, family parties and something important to them. But there are some problems when you:1. When you want to edit them in Windows Movie Maker or some other edit software2. When you want to put them into your portable media players, such as iPod, iPhone, Zune, Creative Zen and so on3.

Nowdays, more and more people use camcorder to record something happy, such as birthday party, wedding, graduation etc. While, maybe lots of you aren’t familiar with these tools, feeling frustrated about how to convert and import properly those .MOD video files. Now here, I give some little tips and hope it useful to all of you.First, what’s Mod?.Mod files are actually MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio, similar to a VOB file on a DVD or the M2T files used on Sony hard drive camcorders, this video file format is used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders.Second, why and how we convert them to what we wanted video formats?Because .Mod file is not supported by iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Zune, Creative Zen etc, so if you want to import MOD files from your camcorders to play on iPod, even burn to DVD to keep them, you have to convert them.

Agnew speeches sparked move toward soft news
Michael Socolow (Bangor Daily News)
It remains the most influential indictment of American journalism ever made. Forty years ago today, this famous figure began railing against the corporate media. “A broader spectrum of national opinion should be represented among the commentators of the network news,” he argued, explaining that “men who can articulate other points of view should be brought forward, and the American people should be made aware of the trend toward the monopolization of the great public information vehicles and the concentration of more and more power over public opinion in fewer and fewer hands.”
American democracy's perilous dependence on the corporate, capitalist media had previously been detailed.

Anita Dunn has proven to be one of Obama’s greatest assets and now perhaps one of his greatest mishaps. As a campaign consultant she boasted boldly during a Jamaican interview that “Obama’s camp controlled the media, ALL the media” and still does today….well perhaps aside from FOX News.
As a Democratic strategist, communications consultant, and is a partner of Squier Knapp Dunn Communications, a Washington-based consulting firm, Anita Dunn has been most recently Obama’s /the White House’s communications chief. Recently she quietly stepped down from her post, resigning and is attempting to tip-toe out of the building and her past revelations which I assert will haunt her and her career in the future.
What is her future?

I would like to introduce my affliction Vampire High, a fantastic TV show that never got a chance until now that is. Got cancelled not because of ratings ( it was a hit at the time ) but because it was complained that there was to much drama on TV.
Rest assured it isn't like any Vampire show that is now being shown on the screen the story line is riveting, it slowly unravels leaving the audience with so many unanswered questions which is fantastic.

A year after an unruly crowd trampled a worker to death at a Wal-Mart store, the nation’s retailers are preparing for another Black Friday, the blockbuster shopping day after Thanksgiving. Along with offering $300 laptops and $99 navigation devices, stores are planning new safety measures to make sure the festive day does not take another deadly turn.
Last year, frenzied shoppers at a Wal-Mart in Valley Stream, N.Y., trampled Jdimytai Damour, a temporary store worker who died soon afterward.

I thought this would be an interesting tie in from Tulipe's earlier post.
On the night of Nov. 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall — the stark, menacing symbol of the Cold War — came crashing down, suddenly and dramatically.

Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Courage and Cowardice
A self-described "devout Muslim" who praised suicide bombers opens fire on brave American soldiers — and most people in the mainstream media insist there is no sign of terror.
November 6, 2009 - by Bruce Bawer
The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe — murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it.
