When Michelle Obama broke ground for her 1,100-square-foot garden on the White House lawn, the shock waves were felt around the world.
On her recent trip overseas, most of the press focused on the first lady's fashion statements. But world leaders, she said upon her return, wanted to discuss the statement her garden was making.

Aussie actor Hugh Jackman takes his family — wife Deborra-Lee, 53, son Oscar, 8, and daughter Ava, 3 — to watch the New York Knicks’ basketball game against the Denver Nuggets at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday (December 28).
The Nuggets beat out the Knicks in a 117-110 victory. Looks like Oscar cheered on the right team–check out the jersey he’s wearing!

Montreal Canadiens v. Philadelphia Flyers
Philadelphia leads the series 2-1. Last night, the Flyers' three second-period goals were enough for a victory--and for the Habs to pull rookie goaltender Carey Price.

Okay, bear with me as I am leaving for Morocco. Most likely this will be my final post until I return on April 30th. Yes, it is crazy that I am traveling during the Stanley Cup playoff action and I will miss my beloved Avalanche and other favorite teams in league action.
