This is from Totally Dairy-Free Cooking by Louis Lanza and although I haven't actually tried it yet, it sounds delicious! I have enjoyed most of the recipes from this book, so I'll try it soon, but in the meantime, if anyone's brave enough to try it, be sure to let us know how it is!

Baciame, soy Italiana.
In winter, its been a tradition in my house (and at my grandparents) to grab some dried figs from the store and some whole walnuts. When you get home from school/work and before dinner, you just crack open some walnuts and enjoy a dried fig or five.

My boyfriend and I decided to try our hands at homemade granola as a holiday gift instead of baked goods or sweets. I was really happy with how it turned out; in fact, I'd like to make homemade granola more often.
We used rolled oats, dried cherries, coconut, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and other assorted ingredients.

This weekend my friend April was having an appetizer potluck birthday party in the park. I wasn't sure what I was going to make, so I got up early and went to the farmer's market to see if I could find something that inspired me. I ended up getting sidetracked on my way to the market and ended up not having too much time.
