Earth on the Brink of an Ice Age (An article from today’s Pravda)
The earth is now on the brink of entering another Ice Age, according to a large and compelling body of evidence from within the field of climate science. Many sources of data which provide our knowledge base of long-term climate change indicate that the warm, twelve thousand year-long Holocene period will rather soon be coming to an end, and then the earth will return to Ice Age conditions for the next 100,000 years.
Ice cores, ocean sediment cores, the geologic record, and studies of ancient plant and animal populations all demonstrate a regular cyclic pattern of Ice Age glacial maximums which each last about 100,000 years, separated by intervening warm interglacials, each lasting about 12,000 years.

My cousin is getting married this weekend and my parents' anniversary just passed, so I've got weddings and :GIFT: for such on the brain.
Again, The Perfect Basket seems to have come to my rescue with a wealth of ideas that are perfect for my cousin and his soon to be bride.
I've only met the bride once while I've known my cousin for, oh, 25 years now.

With the onset of cooler weather here in R.S.A I enjoy opening a bottle of Wolfkloof Shiraz. When I first tasted this wine all I could taste was the taste of black pepper and cloves but as I started to learn more about wines and appreciate the flavors of the wine.
Wolfkloof Shiraz: This name of Wolfkloof is derived from a farm, owned by the Viljoen family since 1880.

Growing up in my household as a child it was well understood that Super Bowl is considered a holiday. It was actually my dad's 2nd favorite "holiday" (Thanksgiving being 1st).
My mom would always go all out on making sure the guys had plenty of food to eat while yelling at the tv.
