While in the cooking aisle of my grocery store checking out packaged cookies, I was reminded of how much I miss Circus Animal Cookies, which got discontinued last year when Mother's Cookies filed for bankruptcy (although Kellogg's has said it plans to reintroduce some favorites). In hard times, many products — from Archway Cookies to Zima coolers — have gone the way of Crystal Pepsi. What discontinued products do you still crave?

The economy continues to tumble, yet there's no end in sight when it comes to the pattern of reviving extinguished store-bought cookie brands. Following the rebirth of Mother's cookies by Kellogg's, snack company Lance is bailing out Archway, the sister company to Mother's that also collapsed this October. Before its demise, Archway was known nationwide for its soft-batch cookies in various flavors such as oatmeal and nougat.

Trying to find the perfect additions to your wardrobe doesn't have to start and end on the High Street. If you are looking for something truly unique then you might want to broaden your search to vintage markets and fairs. According to Big Time, the Emmy-award winning blonde recently purchased a newly built, five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath, Mediterranean in LA’s Sherman Oaks area for $2.25 million. The house, which sits on a 0.25-acre lot, boasts "cherry hardwood floors, French doors, coved ceilings, archways, crown moldings, and a gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances, a wine cooler, a large center island, a walk-in pantry and a butler’s pantry," and "a family room with a fireplace, a deluxe wet bar and French doors that open to a large grassy yard with a pool and spa," according to the listing. The property was originally listed around $2.4 million.

With Spring on my mind, I can't help but be attracted to this Neiman Marcus Cane Garden Stool ($220), which brings to mind a latticed garden archway. This one's less than half the price of the crave worthy stool I featured recently and opens up top as storage for your outdoor (or indoor) essentials. Its hand-painted woven pattern is very Dorothy Draper, I must say, and would sparkle in any modern-day prepster interior.

I just don't know how to feel about this news. On the one hand, it's a wedding and you know we love weddings. On the other, it's Kate marrying Pete.
