One of the main events of last weekend's Slow Food Nation was the Marketplace, a farmers market where the public could buy produce directly from producers. Farmers from 30 different counties in California were on-hand to sell everything from mushrooms to vinegar. Check out some of my favorite moments here.

New Guidelines for Localized Prostate Cancer
In 2007, the American Urological Association (AUA) released updated guidelines for treatment of localized prostate cancer. The guidelines recommend that:
- Patients should be classified as low, intermediate, or high risk, depending on their PSA levels, cancer stage, and tumor aggressiveness.
- Doctors need to consider patients’ personal preferences and quality of life concerns as well as their clinical status.
- Standard treatment options include active surveillance (watchful waiting), surgery, or radiation therapy. Initial androgen deprivation therapy (hormone therapy) is seldom recommended for localized prostate cancer.
New Guidelines for Androgen Deprivation Therapy
- The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2007 guidelines recommend that doctors delay androgen deprivation therapy for advanced prostate cancer until patients develop symptoms.

When we caught up with Lauren Conrad, the sunny California starlet was relaxing in her home we all know so well from The Hills. Lauren was friendly and down to earth, which was just what we expected from the everyday girl gone famous who we've watched grow up over the past five years. She stopped mid-sentence to ask Lo what music they've been listening to and walked over to her fridge — around boxes from her basement flooding that morning!
