The green paste-like sauce is Argentina&#039;s most popular condiment. A thick herb sauce that consists of olive oil, vinegar and finely chopped parsley, oregano, onion and garlic, all seasoned with salt, cayenne, and black pepper. It&#039;s most commonly used as a salsa or marinade with grilled meat. &lt;b&gt;Chimichurri&lt;/b&gt; comes from Argentina where it parallels ketchup in America as being a widely popular condiment.  &lt;/p&gt;
