In the days following the Haiti disaster, celebs gathered to try and use their influence to encourage people to donate. George Clooney put together his Hope for Haiti Now telethon, while in the UK Simon Cowell contacted his celeb friends and colleagues including Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle, Take That, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole, James Blunt, Westlife, and James Morrison to put together a charity single. We heard it at the beginning of last week, and now the video has debuted.

The stars were out at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes last night for the NRJ Music Awards, where Robbie Williams picked up two awards — one for Best International Male, and one special recognition award. Last year there was a big mistake where Katy Perry was announced as winning Best International Song instead of the actual winner — Rihanna, and this year a similar mistake occurred when Black Eyed Peas were announced as Best International Group, although Tokio Hotel had actually won the trophy. Oops!

The first show of The X Factor final was a packed one, with the finalists each singing three songs, including one duet. George Michael wowed when he sang with Joe on tonight's show, Robbie Williams fluffed a lyric but saved it in the end as he sang with Olly Murs, while Stacey looked stunning in her red sparkly dress as she performed with Michael Buble. Robbie came back on to perform his single "You Know Me" in the Christmassy studio, and Cheryl Cole had a little trouble walking in her gorgeous dress, leading Dermot to comment she was always the last one back to her chair after the ad breaks!

I've just got back from The X Factor press conference in London, where judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, and Dannii Minogue answered questions along with the finalists Joe McElderry, Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs! Cheryl looked gorgeous with her hair still free of extensions and a black knitted dress on, and she grinned throughout, Dannii looked fab in a bright red dress, Stacey kept warm in a lovely big grey cardi, while Simon was — surprise, surprise — in a black t-shirt.
Simon confirmed that his act Olly will be performing a duet with Robbie Williams, Stacey will sing with Michael Buble and Joe will sing alongside George Michael this weekend!
