What can we learn from Mr. Squirrel here? Well, when life gives you lemons — turn them into a snack! A lip-smacking, vitamin C-packed snack that he makes look as delicious as a slice of pie.
I can't figure out why it is that little creatures with hiccups (squirrels, puppies, babies) are so over-the-top cute. Slow down, little squirrel. That nut will still be there when you come up for breath.
Don't let the freaky baby voice deter you from enjoying the maximal cuteness that is this video of a baby squirrel. All I could make out was the word "cute" and then "so cute." What else is there to say, really?
Izzy, the albino squirrel, has a factory line of peanuts to nibble through and he's up to the task. Watch him pounce on each nut, shake it to hear the goodies inside then crack away at the outer shell like a pro. This is like a Top Chef quickfire challenge — only nuttier.
This little guy was found staggering alongside a busy road, looking malnourished and confused. His parents were nowhere in sight, so a few good samaritans scooped him up, took him home, rehydrated him back to good health, and posted his cuteness on the net for all the world to see. Our friend is now running around, hoarding nuts somewhere in an animal sanctuary.
I've been using the word squirrel as a verb lately, e.g. "I'm going to squirrel away some food in the fridge," etc. So imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this vid of a pet squirrel squirreling some walnuts away in a blue towel.
This little guy goes nuts on his 007-esque obstacle course. But Mr. Squirrel should stick to natural nuts and not the chocolate-covered variety in vending machines. Too many of those and he won't fit in those tubes anymore...
When squirrels aren't playing dead, they're picking fights all over the place. These hard-core kung-fu antics occurred outside someone's home. Is it just me or do squirrels take themselves way too seriously?
This squirrel needs to brush up on his playing dead technique. He's got proper body placement, but the head and tail could use a little less life in them. And hold the pose, dammit!
