When I saw this recipe in the December issue of Martha Stewart Living, I went a little crazy. With it's vibrant hue, fizzy texture, and glamorous ingredients, I knew it was the perfect crowd-pleasing cocktail for the holidays. Last weekend at an intimate house party, I finally had the chance to make it.

Last weekend I hosted my first outdoor dinner of the season. While I had grand plans to serve a crazy new cocktail, in the end, I went with a crowd-pleasing standby, sangria.
Sangria is one of my favorite drinks to pour at a party because it's wildly refreshing, can be made in advance, and serves a large group.

Osteoporosis, which means "porous bone," is a disease in which the bones gradually become weak and brittle. That often results in fractures -- especially of the hip, wrist, and spine -- even from simple activities like lifting a chair or bending over. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), about 10 million Americans have osteoporosis, while another 18 million have low bone mass and are at an increased risk for the disease.

Wherever designer Alexander Wang goes, the cool kids follow. Such was the case last night when St-Germain and Satine boutique hosted a trunk show for the young designer. Not surprisingly, Wang's sidekick, model Erin Wasson, was there to party the night away despite her broken leg.
