Sheila Lukins is one of America's most prolific cookbook authors. More than 25 years ago, she published The Silver Palate Cookbook, which introduced the boomer generation to upscale at-home cuisine. In addition to publishing other blockbuster cookbooks, Lukins has edited the food pages of Parade magazine for over 20 years.

On Tuesday, I revealed what Barack Obama would be eating for his last supper before the big day. Many of you were impressed by the elegant-sounding menu — but in particular, you were dreaming of the dessert, a warm sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.

If you search hard enough, you can find a diet/exercise book that tells you what you want to hear. I have found this to be true for both gardening and child rearing, and now I know it to be true in the quest for a healthier, fitter, thinner body.
The contrast between Ten Years Thinner ($26) and The Thrive Diet is a case in point.

V.V Brown attended last night's Brit Awards launch and used the opportunity to speak about her new project. V.V revealed that she plans to open an online vintage store with her best friend called Ten Vintage. She confessed to being very passionate about fashion particularly London based designer Ashish.

A new study has found that, if you're currently overweight, obese or sedentary, just 10 minutes a day can improve your cardiovascular fitness.
This is great news for anyone who thinks they don't have enough time in the day to exercise because it's so easy to squeeze in ten minutes. Once you start getting used to ten minutes, you can then up the time until you are able to fit in at least 30 minutes on most days.
