The idea behind these 1974 Weight Watchers recipe cards is quite simple. Create enigmatically named food that looks revolting, and dieters will totally lose their appetites. I mean, "Liver Paté en Masque" (shown above) looks like it's covered in gray glue.

After a long holiday of elaborate cooking and feasting, cut yourself some kitchen slack with a dinner that won't wear you thin.
Lasagna, with its layers of meat, sauce, cheese, and noodles, may sound elaborate, but the handy slow cooker takes care of all the work.
You're free to go sale shopping or watch a movie, and you'll return to a meal that's already been made.

I've been a fan of Tina Fey ever since she was on SNL. With her hit TV show 30 Rock and her recent outstanding imitations of Sarah Palin, I love her even more. She's adorable, smart, and smokin' all rolled into one.

Weight Watchers has launched a new massive ad campaign that says, "Stop Dieting, Start Living." Now call me crazy, but I've always put Weight Watchers in the diet category so I'm confused.
I love the idea behind the whole stop dieting and start living message, but Weight Watchers is all about going to meetings and counting points.

While I don't personally follow Weight Watchers, I know a lot of you do so I thought you'd be interested to learn about this nifty little points calculator online.
All you have to do is fill in the calories, fat, and fiber and the calculator will tell you how many Weight Watchers Points it equals. Pretty easy if you ask me.

Here's some good news for anyone who is a big fan of Weight Watchers: Weight Watchers is going to launch a line of snack cakes and muffins in 7-Eleven convenience stores across the United States. Aside from online and at actual Weight Watchers stores, the products were only sold at national grocery chains, until now. The addition of the mega-convenience store means that if you follow Weight Watchers, you'll have more accessibility to their products, which makes following the program easier — especially since here in California, 7-Eleven is on every corner.

If you're looking for an alternative to pumpkin pie this holiday season how about switching it up with Pumpkin Flan. User fragiletearez added this yummy recipe for pumpkin flan from Weight Watchers and it looks totally tasty and super easy. For anyone that follows the WW's points system, this little dessert is only 2 points.

Unfortunately when we start a diet, most of us read a lot into how much weight it is going to help us lose but forget to think about the potential benefits/detriments it could have on our hearts.
A new study published has revealed the heart health of popular diet plans. The highest possible score is 70 and diets that emphasize a variety of fruits and vegetables scored better than those with a heavy protein focus.
