Recently I was sent a box of meals by Freshology. Like the Zone, Freshology is a diet delivery program that helps celebrities lose weight and eat healthy. I was given four days worth of packaged meals in containers that resembled airplane food.

I am an avid traveler and fly often, sometimes shorter flights from Oakland to San Diego and sometimes longer flights from San Francisco to exotic international destinations involving Spanish speaking countries.
If you fly like I do, you'll have noticed a dramatic difference in air travel recently. Gone are the free food and meals!

If you've ever been stuck in an airport for an extended period of time with a babe, then you know that diapers, baby food, formula and whole milk are near impossible to find. Since all the kiosks sell phone chargers, scarves, and vacation mementos, it's hard to believe there's not one selling baby goods.
Nevertheless, well–prepared traveling parents who pack supplies better think again.

Vacations may be fun, but they don't come cheaply. Thankfully, there are a handful of tricks that enable us to explore the globe economically. When shopping for a travel deal, it's wise to shun ridiculously expensive airplane food, be flexible about flight times, and compare apples to apples, but how can you really cut costs?

You've packed everything on your list (and then some) and managed to keep your luggage underweight. But wait, you forgot to pack snacks before leaving the house! You'll have to resort to the in-flight menu to cure your hunger pangs.
