Wouldn't Pestilential Bunny be an awesome heavy metal band name? Or how about Weeping Hearse? I must say, one of my favorite things about real or fake quizzes is coming up with the fake answers — particularly in the case of heavy metal band names.

Coming up with a catchy band name is almost as important as making good music. I know I've given many a band a chance because I loved their name, either to be thrilled they were amazing or annoyed that they sucked. You gotta wonder how some of these folks come up with their names, though, and in the inevitable rock magazine interview, the answer is usually that they came up with it drunk or on drugs.

Although Band Hero was just released with a star-studded lineup yesterday, and there's already word of legal trouble. No Doubt has filed suit against Activision, the maker of Band Hero, for using their likeness for songs they didn't record, as well as splitting up the band in different scenes which weren't approved. No Doubt's band manager Jim Guerinot explains:
The band [members] are bitterly disappointed that their name and likeness was taken and used without their permission.
