The World Series between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies starts tonight (weather permitting), and although your favorite team may not have made it this far, I'm wondering . . .

The New York Yankees and Mets may have no problem filling their seats but the city's minor league team, the Brooklyn Cyclones, may steal mamas' hearts all over the Manhattan area. In a tribute to expectant ladies, the team hosted an unusual, but incredibly awesome event: Bellies and Baseball: A Salute to Pregnancy.
Before last night's game, the team offered a Lamaze class in center field and allowed pregnant women to run the bases barefoot!

George Will says that baseball is one of the first places a child can match wits with an adult. Here are our tips for a ballpark excursion.
- Minor League Action: Minor league teams often pack all of the action of their big league siblings, at a fraction of the cost and in a more kid-friendly environment. The games tend to be shorter and the stadiums often have barbecue facilities available for families to use prior to the first pitch.
- Pick Your Game Wisely: Free beer mug day may invite a crowd that you don't want your little one shuffling through, while star player bobble-head handouts might be more up your alley.

Cycling and hiking are awesome Summer activities to do with your honey, but they're not the only ones. Do something different on your next fitness date and pay a visit to your local batting cages. Even if you were the kid picking grass in right field during middle school during baseball games, I promise you'll have a blast when you're swinging bats in the sunshine.

There's no reason you have to keep your fun and games out on the sports field. Try adding some sporty sensibilities to your home and garden, too. I've shown you how to get the Grand Slam look, but you don't have to stop with tennis.

When it comes to the World Series, it seems everyone is rooting for a different team, but there's one thing that all of America can get behind: free tacos.
Mexican fast food chain Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" campaign is back again this year. The promotion, which the fast food chain first launched last year, gives out free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Tacos to all customers if and when a player from any team during any game captures the first stolen base of the 2008 World Series.

Having a child with special needs can be challenging. Being a child with special needs is likely harder. When their peers run outside for recess or jump off a diving board, some tots with cerebral palsy or debilitating conditions find themselves watching from afar.
