While I don't have a problem with consuming any kind of meat, I do find it troublesome when women are portrayed as a type of meat. Although exploiting the female body to promote vegetarianism or veganism is nothing new, a recent article in the New York Times highlights the trend. The article discusses a vegan strip club — Casa Diablo — in Oregon that attempts to convert meat-eating males to veganism, as well as a Los Angeles dance group — the Vegan Vixens — that performs at events and trade shows.

Bringing home baby when you've already got a toddler brings on a whole new world of issues — envy being one of them.
When a mother nurses her newborn, the older tot often feels left out. A Boobie Buddy ($55) may help alleviate that problem.

I've seen a bunch of provocative Breast Cancer Awareness ads this month. Some of the more eye-raising slogans splashed strategically across t-shirts include: Save the Ta Tas, Hope For Hooters, and Save 2nd Base. None of these come close to the viral ad campaign featuring MTV DJ Aliya-Jasmine Sovan walking poolside in a bikini as the camera zooms in on her bouncing breasts.

Most of you said that you do indeed hide beauty items from guests to help savor the good stuff for yourself, and this got me to thinking. Since we're spilling the beans here, what do you have to say for yourself when it comes to peeping at other people's medicine cabinets? I seem to recall reading somewhere that certain sneaky hostesses will set up booby traps — like carefully-placed marbles — to catch the snooper in the act.

Teaching children about the birds and the bees is no longer a formal chat that happens during the tween or teen years. Many mamas choose to introduce the concept when a sibling makes her debut. Fourteen percent of lilsugar readers say they'd purchase a birthing and nursing doll ($90) to educate their kiddos about the miracle of life, while 43 percent of our mamas would invest in a Boobie Buddy ($55) or nursing doll.
